Step 1: Open Windows Settings

  1. Click the Start button (Windows icon) on your taskbar.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Alternatively, press Windows + I on your keyboard to open Settings directly.

Step 2: Open Printers & Scanners

  1. In the Settings window, select Bluetooth & devices from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Printers & scanners.

  3. You will see a list of printers installed on your computer.

Step 3: Select Your Printer

  1. Find the printer you are attempting to print to.

  2. Click the printer's name to open its settings.

  3. Select Open print queue.

Step 4: View Your Print Queue

A new window will open displaying any pending print jobs.

From this window, you can:

  • View pending documents: See which documents are waiting to print.

  • Check print status: Identify jobs that may be stuck or experiencing an error.

  • Cancel a document: Right-click a print job and select Cancel to remove it from the queue.

Note: If the print queue is empty, Windows currently has no pending print jobs for that printer.

Troubleshooting: A Document Is Stuck in the Queue

If a document is not printing:

  1. Open the print queue using the steps above.

  2. Locate the document that is not printing.

  3. Right-click the document and select Cancel.

  4. Wait for the document to disappear from the queue.

  5. Open the document again and try printing.

If the document cannot be canceled, or new documents continue to get stuck, contact your IT support team for assistance.
